The Higdon House is approximately 80 miles east of Atlanta, 70 miles west of Augusta, and 30 miles south of Athens. 

From Atlanta or Augusta:  Take I-20 Exit #130, go north on Route 44 to Greensboro (about 3 miles).  At the town center, turn left at light (Broad St.), go 3 blocks to Chestnut St.  Turn right, then right again on W. Greene. You can't miss us!

From Athens:  Take Route 15 south to Greensboro.   Just before the intersection with Route 278 turn left on to W. Greene Street.

Neither MAPQUEST.COM nor Google Maps shows the correct location of the Higdon House Inn!!  West Greene St. is split in two, with  no connection.  (There was once a bridge over the railroad; it is no longer there.)  Both sites show the Higdon House Inn on the wrong section of West Greene St.
