The Higdon House Inn & Gardens has teamed up with other local wedding professionals to provide you with a complete wedding package at prices that can't be beat for value, beauty and sophistication.  We have a list of preferred vendors who have met our high standards and can accomodate all tastes and budgets!   

        We offer three packages:

Morning Glory Package:   4 hour Brunch Weddings from 9
                                                  AM to 1 PM on Saturdays/Sundays

Jasmine Package:  6 hour Evening Weddings on
                                    Fridays/Sundays

Daffodil Package: 7 hour Evening Weddings on Saturdays

Our wedding packages include:

1.)    Exclusive use of the private 3 acre estate of lawns and gardens, 

2.)    The outdoor chapel and chapel garden OR indoor chapel with chairs
         for the wedding ceremony,

3.)    The Grand Pavilion (6,000 sf. under cover) and gardens for the 
         reception with:

Ceiling fans	Standard centerpieces*	10 chandeliers
Champagne bucket	Chair slip covers & sashes*	Wall sconces
Unity Candle stand & base	Silver wedding cake base	Shepard hooks and lanterns

  

4.)    The lighted dance floor with fans and mirror balls,    

5.)     The DJ (or Sound System for Morning Glory Package),

6.)     Catering for your reception*,

7.)     The photographer * (a),

8.)     The florist---one bridal bouquet, three bridesmaids' bouquets, three
          boutonieres, two mother's corsages and two father's boutonnieres* (a),

9.)     The wedding cake and groom's cake*(a),

10.)   The wedding director,

11.)   The event manager,

12.)   The use of the Greensboro Room for the Bride and ladies of the wedding 
          party and the Cabana Room for the Groom and gentlemen of the wedding 
          party,

13.)   Real restrooms on the estate grounds,

14.)   All labor for set up, parking direction, guest greeting/acceptance 
         of the wedding gifts, bathroom attendants, and clean up,

15.)   The sunken garden for the designated smoking area, and

16.)   Off street parking.

(a)   We allow outside vendors in certain circumstances.   Please ask us.  

The bridal party is allowed to supply their own beer and wine provided that an alcohol authorization and indemnification agreement is signed in advance.  A surcharge is added for hard alcohol.
