The Higdon House Inn, a bed and breakfast,

is located in Historic Greensboro, Georgia

80 miles east of Atlanta and 60 miles west of

Augusta on I-20.

We are 30 miles south of Athens.

Once you've seen what there is in Greene County, the heart of the Lake Oconee District, we know that you'll be back, often. Why do you think the only Ritz Carlton in Georgia, outside of Atlanta, is located in our county? We'll pamper you just as well as the Ritz, but at a much better price!

All rooms are $169 per night, plus applicable taxes.

(Except during Masters Tournament week: $249)

Payment: cash, personal checks, travelers cheques, visa or mastercard.
A 50% deposit is required.
Cancellations must be made fourteen (14) days prior to check in to receive a refund of the deposit.
We have six spacious, comfortable bedrooms; four rooms with private baths and two rooms with a shared semi-private bath.
Five rooms have queen size beds; one has twin beds.
Four rooms are on the second floor; one is on the first; one is pool-side in the Cabana House.
A full breakfast is served in the dining room.
Check in: 3 PM to 8 PM. If you expect to be later than 8 PM, please make arrangements with the innkeeper in advance.
Check out: Noon.
Children over 14 are welcome.
We can not accommodate guest pets.
Ample off-street parking.
